Evidence-Based Assessment
The True State of Your Structure
In Osteopathy, assessment begins with the hands, and with what they perceive of your structure. Drawing on our understanding of how structure and function relate, we observe, methodically, the way you hold yourself, the habits of your daily movement, and the coordination of your breath. The aim is for you to see how you use your body each day: where it carries its load, and how far it can move. We are not looking at the surface of a symptom. We are looking for its root.
Because the hands alone cannot reveal every hidden risk, we pair their work with preventive assessment tools. These close the blind spots of observation, and give your body’s condition a clearer, more objective point of reference.

2
Release the Root of the Problem
The body holds its own power to heal, and resources of its own within. We go straight to the core, and set Release alight.
Release the Restrictions We Carry · Restore the Body to Ease
True health is not merely the absence of pain. It is the freedom to move and meet no restriction at all. When the body carries stress, injury, or long-held habits for too long, its structure begins to tighten, and natural movement and coordination slowly narrow.
At Sens Fontaine Osteopathy Centre, our practitioners work with focused, disciplined hands, guided by an understanding of anatomy, of how tissue answers to tissue, and of how muscle and bone do their work. They meet the tension and imbalance the body has gathered over years, and help release the obstructions held in muscle, fascia, nerve, and scar tissue.
As these obstructions give way, the body finds again the natural ease that belongs to it, and lays the ground that functional rebuilding will need.

In Restoring, Awareness Awakens
Restoration, gently guided, until you stand at the helm of your body, your feeling, and your action.
Rebuild the Body’s Function · Restore Steady, Ordered Motion
Once the body’s restrictions have been released, it needs to come together again: to re-integrate, and to work as a whole, under a steady and guiding hand. Restore is the work of rebuilding function, of bringing the nervous system, the circulation, and central regulation back into accord.
Responding to the particular condition of each body, the practitioner chooses the techniques that suit it, helping it return to stability and move once more in a measured, orderly way. This is the groundwork that will let the body, in time, keep its own balance.

Build a Balance You Hold Yourself
Health is a choice. And a balance, once truly your own, endures.
Come Back to Wholeness · Build a Joy That Holds
True balance is a steadiness held between the body and the emotions and thoughts within it. It is never merely a moment’s relief that soon passes. At Sens Fontaine Osteopathy Centre, our care is to carry the ease found after structural adjustment out into ordinary life, helping each person rebuild the posture, the breath, and the daily rhythm that truly suit their own body.
As you come to understand how your body responds, a steady capacity for self-regulation takes root. Balance no longer waits on our hands, or anyone’s. You feel the state of your own body and mind with confidence; and when a passing imbalance arrives, as in time it will, you can meet it and correct it yourself, and so build a health, and a quality of life, that lasts.

Osteopathy -
人體結構及骨骼調整
Osteopathy (人體結構及骨骼調整) is a discipline of rigour and care. It rests on the study of human anatomy, on the dialogue between structure and function, on clinical assessment, and on adjustment by the hand. It asks for no instrument and no intrusion; it works through touch alone. It reads how we stand, how we move, and how the structure beneath holds us, and it returns that knowledge to the ordinary hours of living and learning.
Through evidence-based assessment, we release and restore the body layer by layer: the systems that sustain it, the frame of muscle and bone, its working function, its emotional life, its mental wellbeing, and the health of the gut. And this we do together with you. It is in knowing your own body, at our side, that health is kept in balance.
Sens Fontaine Osteopathy Centre is a practice given wholly to Osteopathy, shaped by many years of work. We have cared for people of every age, easing pain and meeting structural imbalance wherever it has settled. In recent years our attention has turned to the young: the scoliosis that can bend a growing spine, the upper back gone round, the shoulders drawn inward, the head drifting forward. Small things, left alone, do not stay small. They raise the risk of lasting strain, and they dull the focus, the easy movement, and the learning a child depends on.
