What is Music Therapy?
Music therapy is a professional clinical treatment led by a Registered Music Therapist, designed for children and adults with physical, psychological, social, or emotional needs. Through a systematic assessment, the therapist designs a personalized treatment plan for each participant. By utilizing diverse musical experiences—including improvisation, singing, songwriting, music listening, and guided imagery—combined with musical elements like rhythm, melody, and harmony, we help participants restore, maintain, and improve physical and mental health while fostering social adaptability.
